Indonesian Embassy - August 2020
The Indonesian Embassy is situated in the heart of London, within walking distance of Westminster Abbey. Our brief was for the interior plant displays to highlight the wonderful natural world of Indonesia. To do this we used containers made of natural materials including wood, bamboo, coconut and pearl.
In their ceremonial room, we were asked to provide flowering plants that would match the Indonesian flag. To achieve this we used Guzmania Hopes, a beautiful red and white flowering plant.
In the ambassadors office, the client wanted an interior garden area. We accomplished this by using large troughs, artificial grass and a indoor water fountain. We finished the area off with some teak furniture. As teak trees are very common in Indonesia, this really fit in to the original brief of showing off the nature of this beautiful country.
