Daiichi Sankyo - August 2020
Daiichi Sankyo's office in Uxbridge was designed to be a modern, state of the art new office where employees enjoyed being at work. They achieved this by using both real and artificial plants all around the office. This not only improved the look of the space but office plants are also well-known to improve your workers well-being.
Botanica worked with a designer to get the best out of the space and the plants. One of the main features of the office plants was artificial trailing ivy both in their kitchen area and in their main office. We trailed the ivy over a metal structure to really bring the idea of nature indoors.
The idea of bringing nature indoors was also used for the containers. Botanica supplied natural looking containers made out of wicker as well as ceramic containers to bring some natural colour in to the workplace.
The final part of the brief was cabinet troughs filled with mixed tropical plants. These were at eye level so really made an impact with the office staff. Desk troughs are also one of the best ways to reduce noise pollution which really benefitted this office.
