Botanica have been working on the rooftop bar on top of Tobacco docks since it opened in the summer of 2019.

The original brief was to use exterior plant displays to create a tropical and verdant space without taking away from the skyline of London. To achieve this, we used low ceramic and natural containers filled with plants that are suited to the British summer climate. This includes large palms, banana plants and fatsia. Lavender was also used to bring colour in to the area. In the entrance, artificial walls were installed.

In the summer of 2020, climbing ivy and clematis were used to create arches over the stairs. This
