Slough Borough Council - Summer 2019
Slough Borough Council opened a new office in the summer of 2019 and we were honoured when they asked us to supply and maintain the plant displays. This newly refurbished office would be the workplace for over 1000 staff so there was a lot of work to be done.
Across all five floors, the council wanted desk troughs with two styles of planting as well as ceramic floor-standing displays to match the colours and design of the furniture. They also wanted living pictures on the walls.
They also wanted hanging displays over some of the shared desks. They required glass partitions to be blocked for their "quiet areas" so we suggested artificial ivy and bamboo screening which had the desired effect.
As this was an ongoing refurnishing project, Botanica had to work with a tight schedule among lots of other contractors.
