RICS Birmingham - April 2018

RICS opened a new office in the centre of Birmingham in the spring of 2018.  Working with a designer, Botanica were asked to supply and maintain all their interior plant displays.

On the ground floor they we were asked to provide plant displays that could form a barrier between two areas of the office. To achieve this we used hexagonal fibreglass containers of varying heights to create a rainforest like partition. Using various heights of both container and tropical plants kept this interesting and eye-catching.

They also had large built-in troughs in one corridor in which we planted dracaenas, palms and philodendrons. These tropical plants really bring some colour in to the office while also bringing all the benefits that interior office plants bring.

On the 5th floor, the client wanted a quiet seating area. To do this we surrounded the tables with office plant displays to block the hustle and bustle from the rest of the office. We wanted the aesthetic to match throughout the office so we used the same containers both upstairs and downstairs. We also dotted small groups of tropical displays around the office on both floors to add points of visual interest.
